1 dies, one wounded after vehicle explosion

A vehicle exploded on July 10 in Shanghai, killing one and seriously injuring another.

According to the official micro blog of Shanghai's Baosteel Group Corp, the steam explosion happened around 10:20 am when the vehicle in charge of heat supply for Baosteel Development Co exploded next to a canteen of the residential area belonging to the company, burning two.

The wounded were soon taken to the Baosteel Hospital, where one died. The other victim has burns that cover 80 percent of the body. That victim's life is still in danger.

Witnesses said lots of glass was broken when the accident occurred.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
