BEIJING - State Councilor Ma Kai met with EU Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response Kristalina Georgieva on Friday, vowing to further cement China-EU cooperation in emergency management.
The two sides spoke highly of the achievements made regarding China-EU cooperation in risk management and discussed further cooperation in the field.
Georgieva is in Beijing to launch a China-EU disaster risk management project and inaugurate the China-EU Institute of Emergency Management.
