Lin Sina, 29, is a certified senior tea-taster in Beijing. Born and raised in Anxi county, Fujian province, where the famous tea Tie Guanyin (Oolong Tea) mainly grows, she developed a huge interest in tea. Not wanting to become a tea trader like the rest of the family, Lin went to Beijing in 2006, worked hard to become a tea-taster and opened her own tea shop.

According to Lin, a tea-taster can tell what the tea type is, where they were picked and how they were processed by looking, smelling and tasting. "If the tea comes from my own garden, I can even tell which one processed it," said Lin.

Lin now owns two stores in Beijing and loves making friends through tasting tea. She hopes that her tea brand "Sixin" will gain a greater reputation and also aims to earn a higher level certificate in her job.
