Malaysia Airlines releases full list of passengers on MH17

KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia Airlines on Saturday released a full list of the passengers of MH17 in a statement.

According to the list, there were 193 people (including one dual Netherlands/ U.S. citizen) from the Netherlands, 43 ( including 15 crew and two infants) from Malaysia, 27 from Australia, 12 (including one infant) from Indonesia, 10 (including one dual British/South Africa citizen) from Britain, four from Germany, four from Belgium, three from the Philippines, one from Canada, and one from New Zealand, with total number to be 298.

The statement said Malaysia Airlines deployed a ferry flight last night mobilizing 212 personnel from various government and media bodies and its staff to Kiev and Amsterdam in a special mission for MH17. "A total of 85 Malaysia Airlines''Go Team' members have been deployed, of which five members will join Malaysia's Special Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (Smart) in the search-and-recovery mission at the crash site in the Donetsk region, while 80 other members comprising care givers and the management team will be stationed in Amsterdam to assist the family members of the passengers," it added.

The Boeing 777 passenger plane of the Malaysia Airlines crashed in eastern Ukraine en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, killing all 298 people aboard.
