PYONGYANG - Top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said the country has been turned into "a powerful nuclear weapons state ready to detonate self-reliant atomic and hydrogen bomb," the official KCNA news agency reported Thursday.

Kim Jong-un said the nuclear bombs are aimed at defending the country's sovereignty and the nation's dignity, when he gave field inspections on a remodeled revolutionary site.
