Turkish military helicopter crashes

ANKARA - Four soldiers were killed and eight others injured as a Turkish military helicopter crashed Sunday shortly after it took off from the Daglica outpost in southeastern Turkey, the private Dogan news agency reported.

The Mi-type military cargo helicopter crashed in Yukseokva town of Hakkari province due to technical failure, according to the report.

The wounded soldiers were taken Hakkari Military Hospital for medical treatment, said the report.
