A man from Zhejiang province lost his iPhone in Italy while on honeymoon four months ago. A policeman in Jiangxi later said he had it and returned it to him last week, the Qianjiang Evening News reported.

The policeman said a friend found the phone on a bus in Shanghai and passed it to him on returning to Jiangxi. The officer located the owner's contact details on the phone and sent it back to him.

No one knows how or why the phone ended up in Shanghai, but it is assumed it may have been picked up by a Chinese in Italy who took it back to Shanghai and then lost it.
