2、The Fifth Beijing International Drama Festival
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Chinese drama, the Fifth Beijing International Drama Festival runs from April 17 to May 3 at the Great Hall of the People, Capital Theatre, Poly Theatre, Chang’an Grand Theatre, Haidian Theatre and others theatres in the city. A total of 18, mostly traditional, dramas will be staged during the festival.

The drama festival highlights various aspects of China’s dramatic arts, including musical drama, traditional drama, Peking Opera, Yue Opera from Southeast China’s Zhejiang Province and more.
3、China intangible cultural heritages staged in Paris
The opening of the art festival of China's intangible cultural heritages was held at the headquarters of United Nations' Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris. Hosted by Cultural Ministry of China and undertaken by Academy of Arts of China and National Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center of China, the art festival opened in Paris on April 16 to display China's intangible cultural heritages.
The exhibition displays 51 items, and the most precious items include the ancient qin of the Song Dynasty, treasured by Academy of Arts of China, the Yunjin looms, Tangka, New year prints, as well as puppets, shadow plays and the like.
