A driver who had been drinking crashed into the rear of a truck and was dragged for 100 meters in his car after the force of the impact left the vehicles attached to each other. The driver, from Hangzhou, was seriously injured and remained in a coma for three days. He later told police he had been drinking liquor before setting off along the Hangzhou-Ningbo expressway, and fell asleep before the crash.
