HEFEI -- Two people have been killed, another 13 injured as of 9 pm Saturday in an earthquake in East China's Anhui Province, local authorities said.
A 4.3-magnitude earthquake hit the city of Fuyang at 2:13 pm according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 33 degrees north latitude and 115.9 degrees east longitude with a depth of 10 km.
The earthquake has affected 41,500 people and damaged more than 10,000 houses, according to the city government.
