Pan Pacific hotel raises money for autistic children

Pan Pacific Tianjin hotel, working in partnership with Tianjin Ruhui Special Education for Autistic Children, recently held its first Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Special Christmas macaroons and drawings by autistic children were auctioned to raise money for the children.

The hotel recently received the 2014 Best New Hotel Opening award at an event hosted by Jin Magazine, an English and Japanese publication in Tianjin.

The Jin Magazine award ceremony recognizes outstanding hospitality and culinary establishments in Tianjin. The awards are selected by a panel of luminaries from various industries in Tianjin as well as recommendations from hospitality and gourmet professionals. The selection criteria is based on the quality accommodation, dining and meeting facilities.

"We are delighted to know that our brand and product are well-received in the Tianjin market. Being named as the Most Anticipated New Opening Hotel during the pre-opening phase was a great encouragement to the team, and being awarded the Best New Opening Hotel one month into our opening is definitely an affirmation of our team's effort," said Reinhold Johann, general manager of Pan Pacific Tianjin.
