JINAN - Former vice governor of China's Anhui Province Ni Fake will stand trial on Monday for accepting bribes and holding unidentified property, a court in Shandong Province said on Thursday.
He will be tried at Dongying Intermediate People's Court, Shandong.
Ni abusing his power and accepted large amounts of bribes when he was mayor and Party secretary in Liu'an City, Anhui, and the provincial vice governor, according to the indictment filed by the Dongying Procuratorate.
Ni's household property and expenditures obviously exceeded his income, and he cannot identify the source of the "huge difference, " the indictment said.
