XINING - The death toll in a car pileup in northwest China's Qinghai Province has risen to 9, local authorities said Tuesday.
Another 15 were injured in the accident.
The accident happened Monday evening in Xinghai County, where a heavy sling cart driving from the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Golog lost control and crashed into several other moving vehicles.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
