A primary school teacher in Guangnan county, Yunnan province, has been dismissed after she ordered that a pupil's clothes be removed and then beat the pupil, Yunnan Information Daily reported on Thursday.
The female teacher, surnamed Ma, discovered that one of her pupils, an 11-year-old girl surnamed Wang, had not completed her homework on June 10. The teacher ordered three of Wang's classmates to take off Wang's clothes, and then she beat her, the report said.
On June 11, Ma found that Wang once again had not completed her homework, so she kicked her, according to the report.
The pupil received injuries to her head, shoulders, hips and knees and was sent to a hospital on June 13.
Wang has recovered and left the hospital on June 17.
