 Large Medium  SmallA stolen Buddha statue weighting 400 kilograms has been recovered in Jingxian, Anhui province, People.com reported on Thursday.
According to police, the statue was stolen from a mountain temple by three tourists who visited on the evening of Aug 12, asking for a place to stay.
The police investigation revealed that the tourists disabled the two staff members at the temple by putting drugs in their food.
Police say they have arrested two suspects in connection with the case.
