Building collapse in Thailand kills nine

BANGKOK - A building under construction at a hospital in central Thailand's Samut Prakan province collapsed on Tuesday, leaving at least nine killed and 18 others injured, local media reported.

The accident took place at around 11:30 am local time, the Nation newspaper reported.

Some workers have been rescued but many others are believed to be still buried under concrete slabs.
