2014 American-German war film "The Monuments Men" is set to hit Chinese cinema screens soon.

The film is directed by George Clooney. Written and produced by Clooney and Grant Heslov, it stars Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, Bob Balaban, Hugh Bonneville, and Cate Blanchett.

Based on the non-fiction book "The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History", it tells the tale of an allied group responsible for rescuing masterpieces of art from Nazi thieves and returning them to their owners.

The film was released in the US on February 7 and will open to Chinese audiences on March 28th.
