An Executive Doctor of Business Administration program, launched jointly by the NEOMA Business School in France and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China, started recruiting students recently.

With all its courses taught in English, the Executive DBA program targets "professionals who want to develop their capacity to produce ideas and innovative solutions for their companies within optimal conditions," according to Sébastien Lleo, head of the NEOMA Doctoral School.

Applicants should have at least five years' professional or management experience and possess a master's degree.

"Participants in this program will work within a conceptual research framework which will ultimately help them provide their companies with innovative, high-level insights, similar to those provided by an external consultant," Lleo said.?

The program will be structured around monthly seminars in Shanghai, will include study tours in France and will be conducted mainly by NEOMA Business School professors.

The program will officially begin in November and plans to recruit 20 people as its first batch of students.
