The annual "Glory Donation" ceremony was held this year, a donation fair launched by the Ruzhou government, central China's Henan province, collecting social funds to help students who could not afford their tuition fees.

Every year, it attracts a wide range of enterprises to show their care for the younger generation. This year, the group of private companies itself donated a total of 2 million yuan ($325,000), which will help about 300 students in their college life.

The foundation, established in 1994, has since held 21 annual fairs, giving aid to a large number of Ruzhou students and gaining influence gradually over the years.

A highlight of the foundation is its transparency in the flow of funds. Each year, the staff of the commerce association in Ruzhou visit local families whose incomes are below the average in the city, creating profiles for the children who accept the donations and welcome the donating enterprises and all sections of society to supervise the fund's usage.

The fund has become a platform for Ruzhou people to take their social responsibilities and become a famous brand in the city.
