PTC ASIA 2014 shows latest products

Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President Deutsche Messe AG

Welcome to PTC ASIA 2014, Asia’s leading trade fair for motion, drive and automation and, next to MDA in Hannover, the second-largest event of its type worldwide.

We are very pleased that ComVac ASIA and Industrial Supply ASIA are once again running alongside PTC ASIA as stand-alone events. ComVac ASIA is a great place to discover new products and services in the compressed air and vacuum technology sector, while Industrial Supply ASIA covers industrial supply and lightweight construction.

In addition, PTC ASIA takes place parallel to CeMAT ASIA, Asia’s leading intralogistics event, so you can gather an impression of the latest developments in such areas as materials handling, packaging and warehousing technology.

We organize PTC ASIA with a focus on the user industries that are shaping industrial development. We host international delegations, matchmaking sessions, sourcing events, and technical seminars and forums which address the specific needs of users from such diverse industries as automobile, engineering, food, machine tools, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and rail transportation. These programs are platforms where visitors can meet with industry peers, talk about ideas, and gather in-depth information. We also organize ComVac ASIA, Industrial Supply ASIA and CeMAT ASIA the same way, so that visitors get a complete overview of four important industry sectors, all in one place at the same time.

In 2013, these events collectively hosted 2,100 exhibiting companies and attracted 77,076 visitors from 80 countries and regions – an increase of 12.5 percent compared to 2012. The exhibition area grew significantly, too, from 80,500 square meters to 90,000 – approximately 11 percent. And more than 80 percent of visitors are decision-makers.

Such facts make it clear: there is simply no better event in Asia for doing business in these industry sectors.
