Engineering students make energy-saving vehicle

A student from the Automotive Engineering Department, Guangxi University of Technology, drives a self-made vehicle during a test run in Liuzhou, Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Aug 31, 2010. The vehicle, 108 centimeters wide and 290 centimeters long, weighs less than 60 kilograms. It uses Honda's environment-friendly four-stroke engine and can run 120 kilometers on one liter of gasoline. Students, under the guidance of their teachers, made the vehicle for an energy-saving competition organized by Honda of China. [Photo/CFP]
