Rare case of baby with pink blood
Pink blood in a test tube (right) from a 40-day-old premature female baby was compared to a tube of normal blood in Hubei Children's Hospital, August 5, 2010. The baby was tested at 7-days-old and said to be in healthy condition at a local hospital. But 20 days after the baby was born, somatic symptoms appeared, including increasing blood fats and hemoglobin. After being transferred to Hubei, she was diagnosed with hyperlipidemia with symptoms of hepatosplenomegaly, a pulmonary infection, anemia and retinopathy. [Photo/Asianewsphoto]
