Resettlement for water project begins in C China

Residents in Xichuan county, central China's Henan province, are ready to leave for their new homes on June 29, 2010. The relocation of the residents along the reaches of Danjiangkou reservoir for the South-to-North Water Diversion (SNWD) project started on Tuesday, and the first batch of around 139 households with 612 residents has arrived at a newly built village in Sheqi County, Henan Province.[Photo/Asianewsphoto]
