Migrant worker family lives with hope, optimism
Zhao Jinzhi is on the production line at a sofa manufacturer in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, May 25, 2010. Together with her husband, Xu Yuwang, Zhao, a post-80s woman from Henan province, was recruited to the factory three years ago as a needle worker with a monthly income of 1,200 yuan, while Xu, a slipcover maker, made 3,000 yuan per month. Since 2009, the factory has offered 600 10-sq-m rooms for couple migrant workers, and Xu's family is one of the beneficiaries. With their 2-year-old son, the family feels cozy and warm in the narrow room but they're worried about their boy's education. According to concerned officers at the factory, they are trying to help children of its migrant workers find schools, and so far, as many as 40 children have been enrolled in the surrounding schools. The couple shows optimism in their daily life with a belief that persistence brings good future. [Photo/Xinhua]
