Serb president set for state visit as relations deepen

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will pay a state visit to China from Tuesday to Saturday at the invitation of President Xi Jinping, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. Cooperation between China and Serbia has deepened since the two countries established a strategic partnership in 2009.

Investment conference attracts top firms

An investment conference will be held in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on Tuesday, attracting global companies. The event will lay the foundations for the upcoming Global Fortune Forum 2017 in December. Local authorities aim to enhance the city's standing as an international shipping hub and a science and technology innovation center. Meanwhile another three-day investment and trade fair will be held in the province's Zhongshan city from Tuesday.
