The closing performance for the 2012 National Center for the Performing Arts Dance Festival will be The Little Mermaid, performed by National Ballet of China. It is the troupe's largest show in the past three years. The ballet, created by American dancer and choreographer John Neumeier was first played in Copenhagen in honor of 200th anniversary of the birth of Christian Andersen.
