An 18-year-old exposed his father as a fugitive when he used his father's ID card in an Internet cafe, Changjiang Daily reported on Wednesday.

Police arrived at the cafe, which is in Hankou, the business center of Wuhan, after receiving a report that the wanted fugitive had been found there.

The report was sent because the son had used his father's ID to register himself online, a cafe worker said.

The teenager told police that his name is Huang Hu and Hu Qing, the name of the wanted fugitive, is his father's name. He said his father left home quite a long time ago and hadn't been heard from since.

While the police were speaking to Huang Hu, Hu Qing called and asked his son to go home as soon as possible. The police later rushed into the apartment that Hu Qing was renting and arrested him.

Hu Qing, who was from Hanchuan, Hubei province, spent 15 years in jail after being found guilty of robbery. After he was released in 2009, he was accused of theft and listed as fugitives together with various others.
