Large Medium SmallGoldwind Science and Technology Co Ltd, China's largest wind turbine maker, said it has received approval to connect turbines of the Gullen Range project to the Australia grid, according to a company statement on July 4.
Gullen Range, with 182 megawatts of capacity, is Goldwind's largest overseas project and the second wind farm in Australia. The project now has both a grid connection agreement and a power purchase agreement.
"We are looking forward to energizing the wind farm in late 2013," said John Titchen, managing director of Goldwind Australia.
