MACAO - The third International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF), co-hosted by China International Contractors Association and Macao Economic Services, kicked off in Macao Tuesday.

With the theme of "Cooperation with China for Common Development," this event has attracted more than 800 delegates and world-class professionals of government organs, international organizations, contractors, investors, manufacturers, financial institutions as well as consulting companies from around the world.

During the 3-day IIICF, the delegates will discuss about topics such as opportunities and challenges in the development of international infrastructure and models of bilateral and multilateral cooperation among Chinese contractors and their world counterparts in the background of global economic crisis.

IIICF, founded in 2010 by China International Contractors Association with the approval by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, serves as a platform of communication, exchange and cooperation for investment and construction of infrastructure.

The forum has been successfully held twice in Beijing. And it's the first time for this event to be held in Macao.
