An egg was found in a super egg, triple the normal size and 200g in weight, at a small poultry farm in Gaolan village, Yaxi town, Nanjing of East China's Jiangsu province, njdaily.cn reported on May 9.

Wang Xiaobin, the owner of the farm, said the special egg was laid by one of his more than 200 hens, which are raised on a mountain on more than 66.667 square meters and eat vegetables, rice and insects.

Wang said the hen had laid a similar egg in egg one week earlier, and that was the first time that he had seen something like that.

The egg in egg is a result of an abnormality occurring during the reproduction process.
