Zhanjiang fair showcases city's artistic and cultural riches

The first Zhanjiang Cultural Industries Fair kicked off at the Yise Zhanjiang Cultural City on May 1, offering visitors a grand cultural feast.

The cultural fair, which will remain open until May 10, features various activities including antique collections exhibition, collectors salon, creative bazaar and painting and calligraphy competition.

An exhibition area was also launched for intangible cultural heritages, where visitors can enjoy traditional Lei Opera and try on costumes and props.

The cultural fair, as a platform for cultural promotion and exchanges, helps enrich residents' cultural life.

The event was hosted by Zhanjiang Daily, Yise Zhanjiang Cultural City and Zhanjiang Cultural Promotion Association.
