Are budget airlines less safe?

A low-cost airline doesn't mean lower safety. Carriers reduce expenses in customer service rather than skimping on security. Places such as North America and Europe, where there is a well-regulated airline industry, do not permit below par standards. Major budget carriers have very good records.
