Awe old and young

Two talented women musicians will play modern songs with two traditional Chinese musical instruments - the lute and dulcimer - at their concert next month in Guangzhou.

They are set to awe the audience with their rendition of French cancan music and the sweet melodies from famous Japanese movie Laputa: The Castle in the Sky. Joining the duo are musicians who will be playing the piano, accordion and jazz drums.

And the ensemble will play soundtracks from the popular game Angry Birds as a treat for their young audiences.
