Actress Trachtenberg developing crime drama at CW

LOS ANGELES  – "Gossip Girl" actress Michelle Trachtenberg will star in a crime drama she has sold to the CW Network.

The project revolves around a young criminology student with a dark past and a gift for profiling. Trachtenberg will also serve as a producer on the project, which will be written and executive-produced by Stuart Zicherman.

"Gossip Girl" producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are also set as executive producers.

Trachtenberg's credits include the TV shows "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Six Feet Under," and the comedy feature "Eurotrip."
