LOS ANGELES – Woody Allen has taken the uncharacteristic step of actually telling people what his next movie is about.
He also confirmed the participation of French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, who has been rumored for months to be a cast member of "Midnight in Paris."
The romantic comedy stars Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard and Rachel McAdams in the story of a family traveling to the French capital for business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better. The cast also includes Kathy Bates and Michael Sheen.
Shooting will take place in Paris this summer. Allen's latest movie, "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger," will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival next month. Sony Pictures Classics will release the film domestically.
