LOS ANGELES – Courtney Thorne-Smith is set to star in "Sorority Wars," a Lifetime original movie set in the cut-throat world of college sororities.
The project centers on an 18-year-old freshman (Lucy Hale) who ignites a full-blown sorority war after she snubs Delta, the sorority co-founded by her mother (Thorne-Smith) and her mother's college best friend (Faith Ford), in favor of the more laid-back and less gossipy Kappa.
Production is slated to begin April 27th in Vancouver.
Thorne-Smith played James Belushi's wife on the ABC perennial "According to Jim." Hale co-stars on the CW's drama "Privileged," while Ford is best known for her role as Corky Sherwood in "Murphy Brown."
