Take That's biggest tour

Take That have announced plans for a UK stadium tour next summer.

The quartet - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange - will embark on their biggest shows to date, playing eight concerts as part of 'The Circus Live - Summer 2009', including three shows in their Manchester hometown.

The tour starts at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on June 6, before calling at Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and ending with two nights at London's Wembley Stadium.

In a statement, the band promised to show fans their best performances ever.

They said: "All of us are really looking forward to getting back on the road again next summer. We can think of no better way to thank everyone for their support and loyalty over the past three years.

"This will be the biggest tour we've ever done so we'll be working especially hard over the next few months to make it the best and most exciting Take That tour yet."

Tickets go on sale Friday 31 October at 9am.
