Chow Wah Kin: new year dates with Shanghai fans

Veteran Taiwanese singer Chow Wah Kin will usher in 2009 in Shanghai with two concerts, the singer announced at a press conference on Monday.

Portal website Sina reported that Chow will countdown to the New Year with fans at a December 31 concert and then play another show the following day at the Shanghai Gymnasium, also known as the Shanghai Grand Stage.

Having finished his seventh solo concert in Shanghai on September 20, Chow said the songs at the New Year concerts will be different. Besides listening to many of Chow's classic songs, fans will be invited to request songs during the concerts.
