Daniel Craig sliced off the top of his finger while shooting the new Bond movie yesterday (10.06.08). The actor was rushed to hospital after receiving the injury on the set of 'Quantum of Solace'.

A source at London's Pinewood Studios said: "There was quite a lot of blood and it was decided he needed to go to hospital for emergency treatment." Daniel was back filming just a few hours later. It is the second time in two weeks he has been injured. Last week, he had eight stitches to heal a cut to his face. The source added: "Some people are beginning to believe the film is jinxed." Last weekend, a fire broke out at the studio causing severe damage to an outdoor set being used in the film.

The James Bond studio has been open for just over a year after it was rebuilt due to an earlier fire which destroyed a set used in the previous Bond movie 'Casino Royale'. In addition, two stuntmen were hurt in separate car accidents during location filming in Italy in April. One unnamed stuntman suffered serious head injuries from his crash, while British engineer Fraser Dunn, 29, was left fighting for his life after he crashed an Aston Martin into Lake Garcia.
