MILAN - Italian opera star Luciano Pavarotti left hospital on Saturday after undergoing more than two weeks of tests and treatment linked to his battle with cancer, a hospital spokesman said.

The 71-year-old singer, considered one of the greatest tenors of his generation, was admitted to hospital with a high fever on August 8 in his hometown of Modena. He underwent surgery to remove a pancreatic tumor in July 2006.
