British singer Lily Allen plans to retire from the music scene before her 30th birthday.

The 22-year-old Smile star has revealed she wants to concentrate solely on her career for the next eight years, before giving it all up for a relaxing life in the country.

She says, "What I'm going to do is work really hard, trying to make as much money as I can, then retire when I'm 30 and have my childhood.

"I'll just sit in the countryside, ride quad bikes all day and have my own paintball course."
