The record, featuring Jay-Z, survives a challenge from the White Stripes whose 'Icky Thump' rises from 13 to two.

Kelly Rowland also rises to the top 10, at fourth, while Kelly Clarkson enters at nine.

The album chart top spot goes to a new entry in the form of Collection, a best-of album by supergroup the Traveling Wilburys.
