Synopsis:

Once upon a time, there existed a kingdom within which dancing was forbidden. Despite her father's orders, Aurore dances every time she has the chance in front of her little brother who watches her with amazed eyes. She is beauty and grace. In order to save the kingdom from going bankrupt, the King has to marry off his daughter to a rich prince, and organises three amazing balls. Learning of his plans, the queen tries to stand up to her husband and dissuade him from acting them out, so that her daughter may marry the man she loves, a painter who has nothing going for him but his art. Aurore will have to choose between the crown and her love, always keeping in mind her mother's advice : "Never forget to dance, even in sadness…"
