Jennifer Aniston and former Friends co-star Courteney Cox were so convinced the media was going to exaggerate a lesbian kiss they share on the TV show Dirt, they placed bets on how long it would take for the first story to appear.

Aniston, 38, made a guest appearance on Cox's new show as a rival magazine editor who is a lesbian and the two share a goodbye kiss.

She says they had a good laugh when the small kiss became a big deal in the media explaining, "I think I won a bet. I told Courteney, 'How many days will it take to come out? 'Lesbian kiss! Lip-lock!'

"It was a record: about a week. It was touted as a passionate lip-lock. It's a good-bye kiss!

"I don't honestly think people want to see Rachel and Monica have at it!"
