The 13th Chinese Music Awards held

The 13th Chinese Music Awards ceremony has been held in the Shanghai Grand Theater, featuring the best-selling artists from the Chinese mainland as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Lee-Hom Wong became the biggest winner among the male signers in the ceremony on Thursday night, picking up three awards in total, including the Most Popular Male Signer Award (Hong Kong and Taiwan), the Best Composing Artist award (Hong Kong and Taiwan), and also the Most Popular Song of the Year award for his popular piece "Da Cheng Xiao Ai" or "Big City, Small Love".

Taiwan singer Angela Zhang took away two awards, including the Most Popular Female Singer Award (Hong Kong and Taiwan) and the Song of The Year Award (Hong Kong and Taiwan).

The Best Male Singer Award (Hong Kong and Taiwan) went to Eason Chan. The Hong Kong star also took away the Song of The Year Award (Hong Kong and Taiwan). The Best mainland Singer Award was given to Zhang Jingxuan.

The Best Female Singer Award (Hong Kong and Taiwan) was taken by Taiwan pop queen A-Mei Chang Huimei. And Jin Hai Hsin was awarded best female singer in Chinese mainland.

The Best Band Award respectively went to Taiwan band May Day and mainland band the Flowers. Mainland signer Li Huizhen was awarded the most popular female singer, and actor-cum-singer Chen Kun received most popular male signer in Chinese mainland. Super Girl Zhou Bichang and Tank got the New Artist Award for Chinese mainland and Taiwan Hong Kong. The Best Composing Artist award for a mainland singer was taken by pop duo Shuimunianhua. They also were awarded best singer group in Chinese mainland, with girl band S.H.E taking the best group award for Taiwan and Hong Kong.
