Justin Timberlake has recorded a track with¡¯80s synth-pop icons Duran Duran, according to MTV.

The track, produced by ¡®FutureSex/LoveSounds' producer Timbaland, looks set to appear on Duran Duran's forthcoming album. A spokesman for the band said, "They are currently trying to schedule more time to get together again and finish the project."

Duran Duran knocked back a collaboration with Timberlake in 2004. The two-year wait seems to have paid off for the band, as Timberlake looks set to be the biggest artist of 2006. His album sold almost 700,000 units in the US to be the highest selling first week album of the year so far.
