Andy Lau to receive award at Pusan Film Festival

Hong Kong superstar and resister of the ravages of time Andy Lau is to receive the 'Asian Filmmaker of the Year' award at the forthcoming Pusan International Film Festival which runs October 12th - 20th.

The committee of the Korean festival have given the award as a result of Andy's considerable work in supporting young Asian directors and the cross-border distribution of their work. This has included "Crazy Stone", directed by Ning Hao, which has proved a huge success at the Chinese box office.
