Justin has roots in the UK

Justin Timberlake has revealed that his roots lie in the UK.

JT told GMTV that he had his family tree traced and it apparently all started with a British man who went to war.

It is thought that he then ran away and fell in love with an Indian girl.

Meanwhile, JT's first single from his new album is due to hit record stores on August 28 ahead of his LP FutureSex/LoveSounds, which is out on September 11.

JT's gone for an edgier sound for his second solo project.

Whatever the critics make of it, he's always got a fan in Christina Aguilera.

She said: "I wish him the best with this record and he looks like he's looking outside his own safety zones and he's taking it to a different place musically."
