Pregnant Britney Spears is moving back to native Louisisna, leaving her luxury mansion in Malibu, California for a quiet home in Kentwood, Louisiana.

Apparently the decision of moving back comes at Britney's last effort to save her marriage with troubled dancer Kevin Federline. The Toxic singer believes that distance will help them save their relationship.

And Spears intends to save some money too. Instead of buying a new house she is planning to upgrade her mother's home in Kentwood by adding several rooms, the mayor of the town reports.

Mayor Smith tells website The Scoop: "She wants to come home. She's building more rooms for her growing family. She wants a nursery and some kids' rooms."
