LOS ANGELES - Nick Lachey could be looking at another steady TV gig. Heading
toward single status in real life, as his divorce from Jessica Simpson nears
completion, he'll play a bachelor in a sitcom pilot for the new CW network.

He'll star as Colin, a single man living in Manhattan, in the
comedy "She Said/He Said," CW spokesman Paul McGuire said Friday. Other cast
members are still being hired for the pilot that will shoot in April, McGuire
said.
Whether the show makes it onto CW's schedule will be announced at the
network's first presentation to advertisers May 18 in New York. CW is a hybrid
of the WB and UPN networks.
Marriage was the theme of Lachey's MTV reality show, "Newlyweds: Nick &
Jessica," which featured him and his actress-singer bride. Simpson filed for
divorce in December, seeking dissolution of their three-year union.
Lachey, 32, gained fame as a member of the boy band 98 Degrees. Simpson, 25,
made her big-screen debut playing Daisy Duke in "The Dukes of Hazzard" movie.
Lachey's role in the pilot was first reported by Us Weekly magazine.
